SUPREME Setu API — Early Access
The SUPREME Setu OpenAI-compatible endpoints preview the upcoming public release. Want early access or custom organizational quota limits? Contact our solutions engineering team.
Authentication & API Keys
All requests to the SUPREME Setu Gateway must be authenticated. We use standard HTTP Bearer token authentication compatible with standard web libraries and OpenAI SDKs.
Obtaining an API Key
Developer API keys are currently in early access. Request access by contacting support@supremeai.services or submitting a request through our contact form. Self-service key provisioning will be available in future releases.
API Key Format
SUPREME API keys are prefixed with sk-supreme- followed by high-entropy cryptographic strings:
text
sk-supreme-live_948f2a1b8c0e7d6...Never commit API keys to version control. Store them in secure secrets managers or environment variables (.env.local).
Using Keys in Requests
Send your key in the Authorization header as a Bearer token:
bash
Authorization: Bearer sk-supreme-YOUR_KEY_HEREcURL Example
bash
curl -X POST https://supremeai.services/api/setu/v1/chat/completions \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SUPREME_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"model": "quantum-lite",
"messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Ping"}]
}'Python SDK Example
python
import os
from openai import OpenAI
client = OpenAI(
api_key=os.environ.get("SUPREME_API_KEY"),
base_url="https://supremeai.services/api/setu/v1"
)Security Best Practices
- Environment Variables: Always read keys from
process.env.SUPREME_API_KEYoros.environ["SUPREME_API_KEY"]. - Key Rotation: If a key is accidentally committed or compromised, revoke it immediately via your developer settings console.
- Backend Proxying: Never expose
sk-supreme-keys in client-side browser bundles or mobile apps directly; route requests through your own backend proxy.
